Trump says he will veto executive orders banning travel to U.S. and Canada

President Donald Trump on Thursday said he would veto executive actions banning travel from six countries, but he added that he will work with Congress to address the threat posed by the coronaviruses.
Trump said he will not sign executive orders restricting travel from the U.K., Canada, Mexico, and South Korea.
Trump also said he’s working to get a new trade agreement signed that would include Canada, but his administration has not yet secured the support of the White House.
The president told reporters Thursday that he has been briefed on the issue.
“I am working on a very, very good deal,” Trump said.
The White House did not respond to requests for comment.
